All participates will receive a finisher medal upon completion of the race.

Course: The 20 mile course is a two loop run with a few rolling hills, some good down hills and gorgeous scenic views. The event starts in front of the Hawthorne Hotel (Hawthorne Blvd) in the heart of downtown Salem. Runners will follow Lafayette St. continuing on 114 into Marblehead and turn around at the entrance to Devereaux Beach. Head back into Salem all the way down Fort Avenue and looping back into downtown Salem to Finish.
Team Relay: This is for the 20 mile distance only and was created for teams of 3 or 4 runners. No transportation will be provided for relay runners. If you are a team of 4, two people will be at the start and two people will be at the turn around at Devereaux Beach. We recommend having your bib on a race belt so it’s easy to hand off to your teammate. If you are a team of 3, it’s up to you how you want to split the distance. Our recommendation would be to have one at the start, one teammate at the Saltonstall School, and one at Devereaux Beach. The first runner will run a total of 7 miles to meet there teammate at Saltonstall School who will finish the first 10 miles, and proceed to the second loop, running to Devereaux Beach and that last teammate will run from Devereaux to finish the event. This way each runner will run approximately be running the same mileage.
***We welcome strollers/dogs. We ask that you do line up in the back at the start.
