666 Event Description:
The Devils Chase 6.66 Mile Run, named to the Top Nine Costume Runs in the World, is the best and most unique event you will run in all year long. 98% of participants dress up in costume, majority Devil Theme costumes. People from all over the world venture to Historic Salem and join us for one Hell of a Good time. The Devils Chase in its 10th year now attracts more than 1000 Devils donning their favorite horns with pitchforks in hand for a scenic 6.66 mile race past a variety of Salem’s well known landmarks including the Salem Common, Salem Witch Museum, a Real Haunted House, the Custom House, Salem’s Derby Wharf, the House of Seven Gables and more. The course provides two sections of in and outs allowing runners to pass their fellow Devils and admire all of the unique and entertaining costumes. You’ll know your nearing the end of the race when you begin running through an eerie spooky foggy finish.
Early bird registration: $30 through 4/30
General Registration: $35 through 8/1
Late Registration: $40 through 10/25
Race day: $50
Swag: Finisher medals to all participants in the 6.66 and 3.33 Miler. Runners who pre-register prior to 9/24 will have their name printed on their race bib.
Merchandise: You’ll have the opportunity to purchase Devils Chase merchandise through online registration. Any pre-purchased merchandise will be pre-bagged and ready for you whether you decide to pick it up pre-race or post race. Merchandise will be for sale on race day, cash/check/credit.

Friday, October 25th, from 3-7 PM at the B&S Fitness Facility (GPS: 90 Leavitt St. Salem, MA)**Yes you may pick up your friends packets.
Saturday October 26th will open at race site: 6:30 AM (Salem Willows Soccer Field, GPS: 129 Fort Ave, Salem, MA
Team Challenge: Teams must have a minimum of 5 people to participate in the team challenge. A team can have more however only the top 5 finishers times will be scored. You can create or join a team when registering! 5 prizes will be awarded to the first place overall team.
BIB 666 & 333 Auction: Who will be the proud runner wearing 666 or 333 in this years events? This years auction comes with a basket full of goodies that values more than $500!! This years custom baskets will include: event swag, The Derby Restaurant Gift Card, Brothers Taverna Gift Card, FREE Trolley ride for 4, Framed BIB, race day BIB, Wooden Homemade Pitchfork for the 666 Winner, Free Comp Entry to any B&S Event, Free Comp Entry to our 2020 event, VIP race site parking (PRICELESS), Custom Mask by Uncle Boogieman for the Clown and Wine/Beer.

Team Challenge Award: Top 5 team finishers will receive an award
Devil Costume Requirements:
Must include, horns, pitchfork, and a cape or tail for the 1st place M/F Cash Prizes!
Event Beneficiaries: The Devils Chase supports a variety of organizations including Salem High School and FitGirls Marblehead.
Accommodations: Hawthorne Hotel is our host hotel. Please be sure to book as soon as possible as rooms will fill up fast.
Weather: The event will take place rain/snow or shine. HOWEVER in the event of serious inclement weather, and we are forced to cancel the run portion due to safety issues we will still be having the party. That being said, faced with a situation of a major Nor’Easter and we are forced to cancel the post race party as well, we will notify you as soon as we possibly can. We will not be making any decisions regarding the event until that morning. Please check our Facebook page for updates and keep an eye out for any and all emails sent out. Given the nature of these events, there are no refunds regardless of what we are forced to do to keep our participants safe. We would however credit a portion of the registration fee toward any future B&S event.
